For the past two years, some of Brixton’s most rooted voices and creatives have been quietly travelling the world—tasting, testing, and arguing over what a rum that truly represents Brixton should taste like. More than 30 Brixton-based businesses have been working in secret. Behind closed doors, after hours of experiments, something finally clicked.
On 26 Sept, for one night only, it’s revealed: Brixton Culture Capital Rum—a limited first edition of 456 bottles, hand-bottled in Brixton. Smooth, bold, with notes only Brixton could pour into a rum. This is bigger than a launch. It’s a hope that when Brixton owns its culture, it creates something the world can’t ignore.
